Ron Walters sings at 9/11 Ceremony

Born in San Antonio, Texas, to a musical family, Ron Walters began performing at the age of four. His love of music has transcended into a timeless sound full of soul and passion.Once a member of a group, 4 Pleasure, Ron left the "hard core R&B" musical genre, for more of a Pop/Urban Christian based, soulful sound.Eventually Ron relocated to the Great State of Oklahoma where his wife, Michelle Myers-Walters, originates. He was saved; then he and Michelle began to compose and produce their original Christian material. Usually Ron sings in many different venues throughout the South West area. On September 11, 2004, Ron was asked to sing for the New York City Firefighters, EMS and 43rd Police Precinct. He sang the National Anthem, as well as an original score entitled "This Year." "It was such a solemn experience," Ron said. "Everything was so still and everyone felt blessed just to be alive." Walters graduated in 1994 from South West High School, where his mother Donna Davis was a teacher. His new CD Stealing Time will be released on July 29.
